CFAM PROGRAMS
STRENGTHEN TO LEAD
All across Africa there are many independent pastors and ministers that are laboring for the Lord with no support. They are doing it because they love the Lord and have a heart for the perishing. Most often these men and women are alone, needing encouragement and support to keep bringing the light of the Gospel to those living in darkness. Strengthen to Lead works to bring these ministers together through conferences, retreats, seminars and camp meetings to encourage and strengthen them for the work of the ministry. Through these programs they get to network and bond with other ministers, building relationships that go beyond the meetings.
SCHOOL OF MINISTRY
The Center is working to train hundreds of young people from all over Africa to do the work of the ministry. Many people feel called and have the heart for the work of the ministry but lack the necessary training. We hope to train at least fifty people this year and increase the number of trainees significantly in the coming years.
CHURCH PLANTING
The Center is involved in planting new churches in communities where there are no churches. We are training people and sending them out to plant churches that transform communities with the love of Jesus Christ.
EDUCATE AFRICA
In the centuries past, Africa was educated by missionaries. Those that went through the Christian educational system also received a good moral education. In today's world education still plays a major role in shaping the affairs of society. Center for Africa Missions believes the Christian community must be actively engaged in providing education to prevent the over secularization of our young people. Through Educate Africa we develop ways to provide quality Christian education and be involved in serving the masses of African children in need of education.
SMILE AFRICA
The majority of children in African communities have been deprived of the joys of childhood. Instead of playing, going to school and growing as normal kids, they are forced to work as adults due to economic and war situations in their communities. These children lose their childhood without even knowing it. Smile Africa is a program that encourages children to play and have fun, being full of smiles as any happy child anywhere else.
SHELTERED IN HIS ARMS - HOME FOR ORPHANS AND HOMELESS CHILDREN
These homes are in the organizational stages and will be opened in 2010. They will provide a loving and caring home for orphans and homeless children.
